This year marks the 148th anniversary of the founding our medical institution first opened in 1876 as Korea's first Western-style hospital, Gwanlip Jesaeng Hospital.

After several relocations and name changes over time to meet the needs of the era and our mission, we moved to our current location next to the Asiad Main Stadium in Yeonje-gu in 2001. Since then, we have continuously established an optimal medical environment and achieved remarkable advancements in medical technology.

Currently, drawing on our experience in responding to epidemics such as MERS and COVID-19, we are working on establishing a Respiratory Center with infrastructure to handle infectious diseases, while continuing to provide general medical services. As it has been 20 years since our relocation, we are also undergoing major renovations to upgrade our aging facilities, aiming to create a more pleasant and convenient hospital environment.

We will continue to enhance our specialized medical services to ensure that no citizen experiences a disparity in healthcare and to provide the highest quality of care. Furthermore, we will strive to communicate smoothly with the local community to help everyone swiftly return to normal daily life.
